Thoughts
Gavin was a lifelong friend from school days. Last year he made arrangements for remote Teams chats with his friends which I thoroughly enjoyed. We are all still close and have many good memories being with Gavin. I treasure my friendship with him.

What a shock to hear of Gavin's passing. He was my closest friend at Curlew RC when I rowed there between 2005-2008. I'll always be grateful for his company, humour and spirit that was integral to us forming a close-knit 3rd VIII despite being given the least resources, heaviest boat and least coaching time. I'm grateful to have known Gavin as he made a real difference in my life.
